Who would ever think that the moon could shine so beautifully during the day? With that miracle,  it makes you feel like nothing is impossible or unattainable.  It is what it is when you think it is...or not!!!

Shut Those Old Tapes Off

Our minds are just like tape recorders that play the same tapes over and over again. I go through this often and figured out that one of the best ways to stop this annoying cycle is to consciously shift your perceptions. Hold onto that grounded feeling that comes with this shift as best you can knowing this is what is real...not the old tapes.

Steppin' Out - Don't Follow The Crowd

Everybody stays in a false comfort zone by following everyone else. But, the real "secret" is that you have all the answers you need inside of you. Listen to those "silent moments" as words gently flow through, answering questions you have asked, guiding you to the next step. Don't ignore those little gut feelings as they will never lead you astray. Take gentle breaths in and out and be quietly aware of the signs the universe so graciously gives you everyday.  Don't be afraid to take that leap of faith into the gracious arms of the universe. Let go of the false safety nets that are actually only habitual thinking. 

Don't Fight It

You just can't go against the natural flow of things no matter how hard you try.  I felt so depressed last week and finally decided to just let it all go. I got so tired of trying to swim against the waves.  I decided to quit fighting  fears, tears, depression, anger, disappointment, and just allow myself to be without judgment especially judgment of myself. As far as others who I have felt disappointed with, through a lot of self talk, I realized they are who they are.  It is not them that I have to change but my own perceptions of wanting them to be a certain way. Want to just see through the eyes of my soul, not through the eyes of a soul locked in a human body.  And, just don't fight it.... 

Can't Judge A Book By It's Cover

It's unfortunate but I met someone on FB that I started to develop some feelings for. We never formally met because he did not live in the country and thank God the correspondence didn't last long. It turned out that he is a very unhappily married man that doesn't have the courage to leave his situation and was just looking for a pen pal to preoccupy himself from a miserable situation. I was blessed that I found out so soon because he was not upfront with me. Again, it's all about choice  all about choice and I choose to move on to greener pastures...

It Just Takes A Second

There's nothing like a good night's sleep and a brand new day to give you a new leash on life.  It is all about perspective - the way you view things. And it is the luxury of choice to make the decision to change it. When you do, it is amazing the new flow it creates and all the beauty that begins to happens.....  And, the choice is easy, it just takes a second!!

The Day After

It's the day after I closed a door and am now starting to cross the bridge.  Feeling a bit tired from the trauma and yet excited for the new doors that are about to open.  Already, some new doors are presenting themselves....which one to walk through...that is my next question. All I know is that I WILL honor those gut feelings and WILL NOT ignore the red flags just to make a bad situation work.. But, when you are trustworthy, you just want to trust, however, discernment is the key!!

They Let you Down...

It's sad when you feel that you trusted somebody and they let that trust down. Well, chances are that there were signs along the way that you ignored because you wanted to keep them in your life and you just weren't ready to let them go.  But, whenever you ignore the signs, something always comes back at you in a way that forces you to have make a decision.  Then, you have the luxury of choice and decide what is best. Remember, when you have the courage to close a door, a better one always opens.      

Talking About Patience

Talking about patience, if you are going to write a book, patience is what you need and plenty of it. My book has been undergoing some major changes. I gave it quite a face lift and the final edits are in! A lot of grueling work but I want to make everyone satisfied who reads it. Now, it is called SOUL STRINGS - Your Fast Track to Soul Power!! It's got some high energy. I am very excited to get it out 'there. This picture is my cover. Will keep you informed....
